Microsoft users who want to download Windows 10 for absolute FREE don't have long left to download and upgrade Microsoft's flagship operating system - however, time is fast running out for users to be able to get it without paying the price.

Technically speaking, the Windows 10 free upgrade offer from Microsoft ended on July 29 2016. That's what Microsoft officially said.

However, there are still a number of ways in which PC owners can download and upgrade to Windows 10 for free even today.

One way in which you can do so is via the assistive technology route, but Microsoft has recently announced that this upgrade offer will expire at the end of this year.

The website for the assistive technology site was recently updated  with the following message:

“If you use assistive technologies, you can upgrade to Windows 10 at no cost as Microsoft continues our efforts to improve the Windows 10 experience for people who use these technologies.

“Please take advantage of this offer before it expires on December 31, 2017.”

All you need to do is download an EXE file from Microsoft's hidden away accessibility site, and the Windows 10 upgrade will commence without any checks. Microsoft calls it as their anniversary update with an end date of December 31, 2017 for the upgrade extension.

If you want Windows 10 now and are ready to take advantage of the upgrade offer, click on download link now to get started. Download Windows 10 now!

1. Legendary Expertise In High Altitude Mountain Warfare

Sharing borders with nuclear-armed arch-rivals like China and Pakistan called for impeccable mountain warfare training. So, the Indian army went ahead and became the best in the world. The High Altitude Warfare School in Gulmarg, Kashmir, is so renowned that mighty armies like the U.S., British and German armies periodically come to train with us. Also, the Indian army's triumph over the Siachin glacier is nothing short of stupendous gallantry.

2. Undisputed Remote Sensing Capabilities

A few decades ago, India was heavily dependent on satellite data from America. As a result of this slow process, 20,000 people died during the 1999 Odisha cyclone. Fast forward to 2015, India's remote sensing capabilities are far ahead of that of the U.S. Today, we have satellites backing a variety of applications including groundwater prospect mapping, crop acreage and production estimation, potential fishing zone forecasting based on chlorophyll and sea surface temperature, biodiversity characterization, detailed impact assessment of watershed development projects, generation of natural resources data/information, etc.

3. Most Intelligent Nuclear Program Using 'Thorium'

While countries around the world struggled to find the replacement for Uranium as a nuclear fuel, India's nuclear program was already thriving on Thorium. Since India was naturally rich in Thorium deposits, our brilliant scientists made use of it instead of Uranium (Uranium 238) as fuel and surprised the whole world.

4. Contribution of Yoga and Ayurveda

Yoga has become a rage across the globe. Yogananda talked about the physical and eternal benefits of yoga that are now being actively confirmed by modern medical science. It is the means to release suffering and bring peace and salvation.

5. First Asian Nation and Fourth Country in the World to reach Mars' Orbit

The entire world knows about India's Mars Mission. India became the 1st Asian nation and the 4th country in the world to reach Mars' orbit with journey costing to 450 crores, which is the least expensive Mars orbital mission ever commissioned.

6. The Third Largest Army to Walk On Earth

The more you praise the Indian army, the less it seems. With 1,129,900 active troops and 960,000 reserve troops, the Indian army is the 3rd largest army to walk our planet. Also, it's an all-volunteer force and comprises more than 80% of the country's active defence personnel.

7. Second Largest Number of Internet Users in the World

Our future rests in the hands of 'The Internet' and nobody drives the force of the web other than its users. After China, India has the most number of internet users. At only 29% penetration, India has 354,000,000 people using the net. This puts us way ahead of countries like US, Japan and Russia where the penetration rate is much higher.

8. Nuclear Assets (Weapons and Reactors)

India's nuclear capabilities have tremendously grown. We rank number one in the development of thorium-based fast breeder reactors; we also have 21 nuclear reactors in operation in 7 nuclear power plants, having an installed capacity of 5780 MW. Six more reactors are under construction. According to Federation of American Scientists, India has an estimated backlog of 75-110 nuclear weapons.

9. Fourth Most Feared Air Force in the World

With approximately 1,820 aircrafts in service, 905 Combat Planes, 595 Fighters and 310 Attackers, the IAF is the fourth largest air force in the world. This puts us ahead of Germany, Britain and every other developed European country.

10. Second Largest IT Industry in the World

The growth of the Indian IT has been outstanding. Thanks to this growth, our IT sector is the 2nd largest in the world now. The good news is that in next five years, we will take over China and sit tight on the number one spot.

Hilarious Reasons Why English is the worst Language

English is a mystery to all of us, whether you've been speaking it since day one, or you've just started to learn it. From its bizarre spelling rules to its free-for-all grammar, it's a daily struggle just trying to form sentences that make sense. No wonder people are turning to emoji to express their thoughts.

English is the most widely-studied language in the world, making it a connecting language between countries, and even continents. Thanks to the rise of American power and influence, English has spread like wildfire across the globe through movies, music, and literature. That doesn't mean it's any walk in the park.

IAS is one of the toughest exam to crack. People who have studied for it would tell you how competitive it can be, and how tough the whole process of getting through really is.

It is not like preparing for boards, where you mug up everything and elongate your answers by using your imagination on papers. You actually need to be an incredibly smart person for this. Once you have cleared the written examination, you are called in for an interview session, where only the very best of the best make the cut.

We found 19 quirky questions with answers. These questions don't check how well you know the subject, but how witty you are. Check them out, see if you can solve them. (Without checking out the answers which are given at the end of this article).

Q1: How can you drop a raw egg onto a concrete floor without cracking it?

Q2: What looks like half apple?

Q3:  What will you do if I run away with your sister?

Q4: This is what you have for the equation. The following are the numbers that you can use to fill in the brackets:

1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13 and 15. You can repeat the numbers if required. The resulting sum should be 30.

      ( ) + ( ) + ( ) + ( ) + ( ) = 30

Q5: Jamie looked at his reflection on the window mirror of the 45th floor. Driven by an irrational impulse, he made a leap through the window on the other side. Yet Jamie did not encounter even a single bruise. How can this be possible if he neither landed on a soft surface nor used a parachute?

Q6: By using only one straight line, can you make the equation correct. 5+5+5=550?

Q7: A murderer is condemned to death. He has to choose between three rooms. The first is full of raging fires, the second is full of assassins with loaded guns, and the third is full of lions that haven't eaten in 3 years. Which room is safest for him?

Q8: Can you name three consecutive days without using the words Wednesday, Friday, or Sunday?

Q9: This is an unusual paragraph. I'm curious as to just how quickly you can find out what is so unusual about it. It looks so ordinary and plain that you would think nothing was wrong with it. In fact, nothing is wrong with it! It is highly unusual though. Study it and think about it, but you still may not find anything odd. But if you work at it a bit, you might find out. Try to do so without any coaching!

Q10: What if one morning you woke up and found that you were pregnant?

Q11: Twins (Adarsh and Anupam) were born in May but their birthday is in June. How's this possible?

Q12: The peacock is a bird that does not lay eggs. How do they get baby peacocks?

Q13: If two's company, and three's a crowd, then what is four and five?

Q14: A cat had three kittens: January, March and May. What was the mother's name.

Q15:  James bond was pushed out of an airplane without any parachute. He survived. How?

Q16: If it took eight men ten hours to build a wall, how long would it take four men to build it?

Q17: How can a man go eight days without sleep?

Q18: Bay of Bengal is in which state?

Q19: Where would Lord Rama have celebrated his “First Diwali”?

Winning isn't the point, participation is the key. Tally your answer with these, see if you're IAS material or not.

A1- Concrete floors are very hard to crack!

A2- The other half.

A3- The candidate who was selected answered, "I will not get a better match for my sister than you sir.”

A4- There is no mention if you can use sign or not and thus the only possible way to get this is as follows: (15 - 9) + (13 - 7) + (7 - 1) + (9 - 1) + (13 - 9). If you solve inside the brackets, you will get the following equation 6 + 6 + 6 + 8 + 4. Adding all these numbers will give you 30.

A5- Jamie is a window cleaner who was tired after cleaning the windows on the 45th floor and thus leaped inside the building.

A6- Draw a tilted line on 1st plus (+) operator, + will become 4. The equation then becomes true: 545+5=550.

A7- The third room. Lions that haven't eaten in three years are dead. Easy one, right?

A8- Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow.

A9- The letter 'e', which is the most common letter used in the English language, does not appear even once in the paragraph.

A10- Girl -"I will be very excited and take an off, to celebrate with my husband."

A11- May is the name of the town.

A12- The peahen lays eggs.

A13- Nine.

A14- What. It stated 'WHAT' the mother’s name was.

A15- The plane was on the runway.

A16- No time at all it is already built.

A17- He sleeps at night.

A18- Liquid

A19- People will start thinking of Ayodhya, Mithila (Janak's place), Lanka etc. But the logic is, Diwali was a celebrated as a mark of Lord Krishna killing Narakasura. In Dusavataar, Krishnavathaar comes after Raamavathaar. So, Lord Rama would not have celebrated Diwali at all!

Quite something, eh?
